Designed Research Studies in Anesthesia EducationThe Society for Education in Anesthesia (SEA) is requesting abstract submissions for presentation (April 14-16, 2023) at the SEA 2022 Spring Annual Meeting. Abstracts submitted to the Designed Research Studies in Anesthesia Education category should present testing of a hypothesis or answering of a question by means of scientific methods (surveys, comparison studies, etc) as well as data acquired in performing the study. The Committee on Research in Education requests that abstracts be received by November 21, 2022 at 11:59 pm (Eastern Time) so that constructive suggestions may be sent back to the abstract submitter. The Committee expects to notify authors of acceptance/denial in January 2023. Submit Your AbstractPresentation FormatAll accepted abstracts will be presented as a poster format. The best abstracts will be selected for oral presentations in general session and the top scoring abstract will receive the Philip Liu Award for Innovation in Anesthesia Education – Education Research. The other abstracts will be presented in a poster format. The 1-Minute TeaserALL selected-abstract authors should prepare to present a 1-minute teaser to attendees at the meeting encouraging them to visit your abstract presentation. Meeting Registration FeeAll abstract presenters are expected to pay the full SEA registration fee, according to their appropriate registration level (member, non-members, resident, etc.).
