In
June 2008, the SEA Spring Meeting will be in beautiful Miami
Beach. The theme of the meeting is “Anesthesia Education in
the 21st Century: Reaching to the Next Level,
Education Out of the Classroom.” The meeting will be June
6-8 at the Alexander All Suites Oceanfront Resort.
We are developing a cutting edge-interactive
program. We currently have sessions on “Informatics and
Education”, “Simulation and Virtual Simulation” as well as
“Teaching Regional Anesthesia and Professionalism”. Our
goal is to develop topics that utilize innovative ideas to
capture the imagination of both medical students and
residents. We would like varied representation both in terms
of educational approaches and academic centers.
